Class Descriptions
Aqua Fit - 60 minute - An evening class condensed into one power-packed hour. This class may be performed in the deep or shallow water. Cardio, strength, exer-tubes, stretching and more.
Aqua 1 - 45 minute workout that includes flexibility and strengthening exercises, combined with water walking and gentle aerobic conditioning. Appropriate for people needing to improve strength, balance and endurance in a low-impact and gentle manner.
Aqua 2 - 45 minute workout that focuses on a gradual increase in cardiovascular conditioning, strengthening, and flexibility. Appropriate for those wanting a low-to-medium intensity workout.
Aqua 3 - 45 minute general exercise class with warm-up, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility in waist to shoulder-deep water. Appropriate for those wanting a medium-to-high intensity workout.
Aqua Blast - 45 minute exercise class with warm-up, high-intensity cardio conditioning, strength training and flexibility in waist to shoulder-deep water. Appropriate for those wanting a high-intensity workout.
Aqua Zumba - 45 minute workout blending the Latin-inspired dance fitness program called Zumba with traditional aqua fitness disciplines into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief. You'll find yourself splashing, stretching, twisting, shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering your way to fitness.
Deep Water - 45 minute class for strength and cardiovascular conditioning using aqua belts. Appropriate for most levels of fitness.
Peaceful Waters - 45 minutes of yoga style movement for balance and flexibility with a focus on "presence" and breathing in the water with a touch of guided imagery.
15 Fit - 15 minutes of intense cardiovascular exercises designed to get your heart rate up in a short amount of time! Appropriate for those wanting a medium-to-high intensity workout.
