Why We Do Fitness

History

The Jump Start Health and Fitness Center was started in 1997 at Associated Therapeutics, Inc. Jump Start was originally planned to be a transitional fitness program for patients graduating from therapy and needing to progress beyond rehab, into fitness and wellness. The program grew dramatically and over the past 16 years and now allows members to participate in a variety of aquatic and land classes or to take part in traditional fitness programs using strength and cardiovascular equipment. The staff includes an exercise physiologist, certified personal trainers, certified senior fitness trainer, certified clinical exercise specialist, aquatic and land group fitness instructors with a variety of specialties and a massage therapist. We specialize in developing a fitness program for people with a variety of health issues in a non-intimidating, non-judgmental environment.
