Massage Therapist Job Description

This position reports to the Wellness Director.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to serve as another massage therapist for Jump Start Health & Fitness. This is a part-time position with hours available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. To be qualified, you must be a licensed massage therapist. You should also be passionate about impacting others with a holistic approach to wellness. We want someone who is relatable, realistic, and interactive with our members.

Our current massage therapist is overbooked and we need someone with a solid understanding of massage therapy to ease demand. You WILL begin scheduling clients immediately!

Preferred candidates will have the following skills:

• Current Massage Therapy license in the state of Tennessee
• 2-3 years of experience performing massage
• Stays current with new research and is a life-long student
• Have a team-player mentality
• Personable and empathetic
• Can work with all different types of people with varying health concerns

Number of positions being filled: 1

Payment per session: $15/hour
